I don't feel like much of an authority to be giving out fitness advise lately with the job lay off taking much of my time and the lack of any solid routine messing my eating up quite significantly. The trick is to pull the success out of the termoil. I've just gotten over a flu and so now will be getting back to the gym and working to eat clean(er).
No short term goals right now but one long term goal and this should be your default goal is you have none:
I will work out so that when I get to 80 years old I can still be mobile, agile and strong.
I'm sure a short term goal will pop up quickly but for now I'm sticking to the above.
As for you: consider you health goals, if you don't have any take the one above and make it your own and work your goals back to present day in smaller chunks.
On the job seeking front for me: on-site job interview tomorrow in C-bus, OH. Still waiting to do a few first interviews and waiting on answers from other first interviews.
